Oxted Surrey: Annex Transformation into Mayfair Wine Bar at Home!
Amy transformed a tired old games room, which nobody used into a magical lounge bar to host parties. Amy’s flair for colour and texture and eye for detail created an incredible floor to ceiling bookcase and copper bar which transformed the whole space. I would never have been able to reimagine the room in the way Amy did, and she has created a unique and vibrant space. The whole process of working with Amy was incredibly fun and enjoyable, and I was excited as we brought her vision to life. I would thoroughly recommend Amy as outstanding professional and look forward to working with her again.
Grade 2 Listed Home in Bath
Amy helped me with a renovation of our grade 2 listed home in Bath. No room was left untouched! A brief from my family was make this house look and feel like our old home. We wanted to preserve the traditional aspects of the house but with a modern twist. We also wanted to reuse pieces of our modern furniture and artwork. It was so much fun working with Amy. She listens really well to the brief and has a great eye. She also really works with your style and understands that you need a functional family home too. She appreciates the importance of setting a budget and sticks to this. I found it was a really fun, collaborative process- Amy really took on board our ideas and she even got my children to fill in questionnaires about what bedrooms they would like and they were delighted with the results. Amy had some great ideas and really encouraged us to be bolder with colour, painting woodwork and walls the same colour which has really worked well. The colour scheme from room to room really flows. Amy also challenged us to think about our room layout and designed some fantastic built-in furniture in the study and formal lounge. Her lighting choices were great; pieces I would never have found on my own and she also encouraged me to buy antique pieces, mix them with my modern furniture and also to upcycle. On the odd occasion there is a supply issue, Amy was great at talking to suppliers and sorting out the problems. I always looked forward to our design meetings and definitely recommend Amy as an interior designer. We are delighted with our finished home. Thank you!
Surrey Reigate: Victorian Home
We bought a probate house untouched since 1970 during lockdown. A big project. The external / architectural design we were happy to lead on (the black and white / numerical parts...). Both not being creative at all, we needed help to make the inside as good as the outside. A friend recommended Amy, at first I was worried she might fall into the classic 'designer that just spends your money' territory, we were totally wrong. Amy stuck to the budget, challenged us on spending more on key items, but also sourced from ebay or vinterior and came up with some real bargains that looked fantastic.
We wanted a snug with cosy log burner and period look that our family could play games in on the floor, watch tv in and also had an air of 'grown up space' about it, so we could escape post kids were in bed and feel luxurious. She worked with our builder / joiner exceptionally well - they started offering her tea on arrival each time! She is calm, fun, unruffled. In the midst of the stressful chaos she brought us excitement of what the room could be at the end and delivered. I remember the first time she showed me the 'mood board' of all the colours, fabrics, trims etc, I was over the moon and and couldn't quite believe we'd have something at the end so wonderful, but just from a small area with bits of material in that's what she created!. What was clever though was that Amy tweeked as she went along, changing minor lights, throws, colours, side tables etc, depending on what she found, all of which fitted, but were our choice not hers. That made her approach really personal for us. She was never overpowering or pushy, but would hint to her favourite, after, we'd considered ours.
Even before we were half way through I’d asked her to look into creating our bedroom, I was convinced already it would match what we wanted. Again it did, in budget and now it's complete I've asked her to help with the hall and kitchen. I'm so glad she was recommended and have told her I’m not sure how I'd have ever felt so happy with the rooms without her input.
She's easy to work with, responsive, tailored to you and from a financial perspective can flex her pricing to support your budget / requirement. Which in the long run saves you money compared to what you'd probably pay if you were left to go it alone. Definitely get her involved!!!

The design service we received from Amy was impeccable. She listened carefully to our brief and used thoughtful questions to delve deeper into our likes and style. She also challenged us to think outside some of our usual decor choices. Her creativity, clever thinking and design flair are fantastic, she kept to budget, and she never forgot that we needed a practical living space too. Amy was incredible start to finish. We were getting nowhere with renovating our flat and were in desperate need of help. Amy was able to help us understand what it was we actually needed and wanted and then did a brilliant job of getting into our heads and understanding our style. She then designed a beautiful space which met all of our needs and coordinated all of the contractors to make it happen. This was also right in the middle of all the problems with supply chains but she didn't let this affect the quality of the work delivered. We definitely benefited from her experience in reducing costs at a difficult time for example would never have thought of selling our kitchen without her advice. Amy clearly loves what she does and it comes across in the attention to detail in every aspect of the job, right from removing walls to making sure there is the correct handle for the cupboard on the stairs. Our home is beautiful and we couldn't have done it without Amy. If you need an interior designer stop looking, you've found her.

Family home in Richmond - Full Day Interior Design Consultation
Our experience with Amy was a positive one from start to finish. We got in touch with Amy while in the middle of extension building works. While me and my husband knew that we wanted to change things, we really didn't have a clue what we were actually after and where we should start!
We had never worked with an interior designer and so were a bit apprehensive as to what to expect: would the person understand us? Would they simply seek to employ a "one size fits all" approach? Would they stick to our budget? From our first email exchange with Amy it was clear to us that she "gets" it. When she came to our home (after we had filled in the pre-visit questionnaire) she immediately put us at ease and impressed with her knowledgeable and thoughtful approach. We were able to work together to come up with a great modular approach to changes to our home, which allows us to fit changes around our family life with two small children (and budget post-extension!). Amy was able to provide a range of suggested alternatives, from high-end to more budget-friendly options, which nevertheless didn't compromise on quality and usefulness. Amy was always mindful that any changes wouldn't just need to look good, they would also have to work for us as a family, both now and also as our children grow up. Amy was there to answer ad-hoc questions and suggest solutions when things weren't going quite as we had envisaged, which resulted in a great outcome. We have now completed the initial stage of works to the downstairs kitchen/lounge area and are delighted with the results. We will definitely be back for insight from Amy if we take on any future projects!
